Hangover hall of Fame - Clash of the Warlords AKA Mad Warrior

In this episode Adam And Mark revisit what is most certainly the most absurd post apocalyptic madmaxploitation nasty they have ever witnessed. An off-the-rails post nuke romp from Willy Milana that opens with the title card and then a 2-minute freeze frame of an explosion. -the 73 minute Filipino classic from 1984 - Clash of the warlords AKA mad Warrior.

Clocking it at a whopping 73 minutes, this is MAD MAX: BEYOND THUNDERDOME meets STAR WARS Philippines style! None of it makes lick of sense, like the lead villain going all crazy when the full moon is out (the production actually shows a non- full moon). or how the hero Rex (Willie Williams) is forced to fight against friends to the death in the "arena" (a small dirt patch surrounded by logs) to amuse scarface baddie Malzon.

basically the plot centers on Rex escaping from the camp with his son but are soon found and his son is killed before Rex is saved by a woman named Rhea. She takes him to Ophelos, a camp with fertile land and gun powder. Rex wants to get back at Malzon because not only did he kill Rex's son, but also his wife and as the final confrontation reveals, also his dad too.

It is pretty budget starved with the barren countryside representing the post-apocalypse world. The last ten minutes houses most of the action with some big explosions and a lightsaber duel from out of nowhere. The dubbing is great though

Hangover Hall of Fame - Exterminators of the Year 3000

In this episode Adam and Mark revisit one of their favourite hangover hall of fame flicks. The 1983 Italian-Spanish science fiction action film directed by Giuliano Carmineo, set in a post-apocalyptic future where water is scarce and hair spray is not. Exterminators of the Year 3000.

The year 3000, after a nuclear war turned the earth into a desert. A group of survivors in a cave runs out of water and desperately needs new supply. The last guy they sent out didn't return. His 10 years old son Timmy wants to join the next team. They know where they'll find a well, but the problem it the way there, which is controlled by a savage gang of motorcyclists under the bloodthirsty Crazy Bull.

THE EXTERMINATORS OF THE YEAR 3000 is another Italian post-apocalypse madmaxploitation adventure with parts one and two of the MAD MAX franchise being the obvious inspirations here. There's very little in the way of originality, but It’s got amazingly terrible dubbed dialogue and heaps vehicular violence and chases aplenty across a rugged desert landscape.

You also get a wooden but chiselled hero who is a bit of a dick, the usual an assortment of oddballs, a kid with a bionic arm, hermit that gets the kid drunk and a feisty female fighter (who is actually the real hero). The main baddie is just some overweight bald guy who loves the term 'mother grabbers'.
